Charlie Brahmbhatt

Physiotherapist

Charlie made the move into physiotherapy after his International amateur boxing career. Understanding the pain and frustration of injury led him naturally from being a high-performance athlete to this supporting side of sport.

He graduated with a Physiotherapy degree from the University of Brighton in 2010 and since then he has gained valuable experience, both at home (London) and in Singapore where he lived for seven years. Now back in the UK, he has completed his Masters in Sports Medicine, Exercise and Health at University College London.

Charlie will feel right at home at Physio Remedies as he has worked in private physio practices. He has worked with sports teams including Singapore Cricket Club and Dulwich College London where he particularly enjoyed supporting youth teams including football, rugby and netball.

Although Charlie's physio expertise is extensive, treating different sports injuries, he now specialises in post injury rehab. He has forged good relationships with orthopaedic surgeons and other medical specialists supporting patients with their postoperative recovery and return to sports.

With a strong focus on injury prevention and precision exercises for improved performance, Charlie has worked with boxers, tennis players, climbers (boulderers) and many, many recreational runners. When not at work Charlie can mainly be found at the gym or reading up on natural history.
