Terms and Conditions
Cancellation Policy
Any appointment that is cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice, as well as any missed appointments, will be charged at the full self-funding patient rate (not the insurance rate). Insurers do not cover missed, cancelled, or late-rescheduled appointments.
Payments
You are responsible for paying all charges related to the services and goods provided by Physio Remedies. Failure to make payment may result in referral to a third-party debt collection agency. Any fees, charges, or administrative costs incurred during the collection process will be added to your outstanding balance and passed on to you.
Late Payment
If invoices are not paid in full by the required due date, Physio Remedies reserves the right to suspend or cancel any ongoing treatment until payment is settled.
Should we need to take steps to recover the debt, all associated enforcement costs, including debt collection agency fees, will be payable by you.
Insurance
Where Physio Remedies Ltd has agreed to invoice your insurer directly:
You must provide full insurance details before your appointment, including policy (member) number, pre-authorisation code(s), and your personal information (date of birth, full address, and contact details).
If this information is not supplied in advance, the appointment will be charged at the full self-funding patient rate.
Self-funded appointments cannot be retrospectively invoiced to insurers with whom Physio Remedies has a direct-billing arrangement.
You are responsible for any excess (member contribution), shortfall, and/or co-payment identified by your insurer. Once your insurance allowance has been reached or if an insurer declines a claim for any reason, you will be liable for all outstanding costs.
Consent to Treatment
Medical and therapeutic conditions, procedures, and treatments can sometimes be difficult to fully understand. Our physiotherapists will not begin any objective assessment or treatment without your consent. Verbal consent is sufficient for most interventions; however, certain procedures require written consent.
We make every effort to ensure you understand your diagnosis, recommended procedures, and any treatments involved. Please ask if anything is unclear or if you would like further information. You must inform us of any factors that could affect your treatment or diagnosis. Where appropriate, we can also send correspondence to your GP.
Chaperone Policy
If you would like a chaperone present during your consultation or treatment, please inform reception or speak directly with your clinician. We will be happy to arrange this for you.
