PHILIP HARRIS

Physiotherapist

Since graduating in 1999, Philip has worked in both public and private sectors. He now specialises in knee, shoulder, spinal, sports injuries as well as being an Oxygen Advantage Breath-work Practitioner.

Philip is a member of the Association of Chartered Physiotherapy in Sports and Exercise Medicine and gained his Master’s in 2014.

Early in his career, Philip worked at Flint House Police Rehabilitation Centre, while also working in elite sport, including Barbarians FC rugby club. This enabled him to combine physio with his love for sport. Philip has worked at the Olympics, World Championships and multiple Commonwealth Games.

More recently Philip has diversified and become an Oxygen Advantage Advanced Instructor, with his company, Hetrypa. Recognising the power of efficient functional breathing, Philip can help treat pain, anxiety, recovery and sleep, while also using this technique for supporting both physical and sporting performance.

A keen ultra runner himself, Philip has benefited directly from the Oxygen Advantage techniques improving his mental and physical health as well as his performance both professionally and on the sports field.
