Naomi Murray

Physiotherapist

Since graduating from King’s College London in 2004 and gaining experience in both public and private sectors, Naomi now specialises in sports injury and musculoskeletal physiotherapy. She has a particular interest in lower limb injuries.

Naomi, a Dublin native, has been living happily in London since the ‘90’s. After gaining her Master's certificate in neuromusculoskeletal management she moved to a busy private clinic on Harley Street focussing on manual therapy techniques.

Since working as lead rehab physiotherapist in a private clinic treating many different sports injuries, she has been a keen advocate of kinetic link training (KLT). KLT is an exercise routine using cables and free weights to improve strength and conditioning - a useful tool in returning to sport after injury.

Naomi is a qualified acupuncturist and is APPI (Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute) qualified in Pilates.

As a keen sports person herself she has been able to apply her knowledge of long distance running, ultra-distance cycling and outback skiing in clinical practice. She recently completed ‘Chase The Sun’, an ultra-cycle across the UK from the Kent coast to the coast near Bristol (covering over 206 miles in one day!)

As a lifelong NON-runner I made a crazy decision to complete a marathon before I turn 60 at the end of 2024. As part of my preparation and training I booked appointments with Naomi, who listened and understood what I needed to complete something that was going to be a huge challenge.

Naomi provided suitable exercises and practical instruction to build my leg and knee strength and then she engaged with me throughout the process providing encouragement and support. Thanks Naomi - you were one of my core team who helped me achieve my goal. I highly recommend Naomi to help with preventing injury.

I came to Naomi with severe knee pain after being told I would probably never run again. She introduced me to strength exercises and over the last year it has become a core part of my exercise routine.

I am able to run as far as 10km and yesterday I ran 6km at an average pace of 4.35k/m and I was so happy. My runs are now pain free and so enjoyable!

Personal service, friendly, easy to understand and helpful.

Visited Physio Remedies for an ankle issue I had developed running. They immediately found time for me and quickly spotted the issue, and have provided plenty of exercises to improve the situation. Can thoroughly recommend.

Naomi Murray has been fantastic whilst supporting my recovery from ACL surgery, tailoring my programme to fit my specific sports and performance levels. Would highly recommend her to anyone!

I had a full knee replacement in February 2022. In the weeks before the operation I was treated by Physiotherapist Naomi Murray. She worked hard to get my leg as strong as possible telling me that this would help enormously with the recovery. Since the operation Naomi has worked on my rehabilitation. She is meticulous in her work and is an expert on lower body problems.

Thanks to Naomi my surgeon has described my progress as ‘phenomenal’. Four months after the operation have good flexion and extension and am highly mobile. I cannot praise Naomi highly enough. She is very skilled, tough but sensitive to the limits of pain and a brilliant guiding hand. If you have any physio needs the Physio Remedies should be your first port of call.
