We're looking for a Senior Orthopaedic Physiotherapist to join our friendly and passionate team. The start date is Nov / Dec 22.
This role offers an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified, experienced physiotherapist to take on a lead role in the development and delivery of a brand-new post-operative recovery centre. This role will provide highly advanced and specialised musculoskeletal post-operative physiotherapy to a 5-bed in-patient centre.
Working collaboratively with orthopaedic surgeons, nursing staff and hospitals to create a seamless post-operative pathway of recovery, the position will work closely with the directors and the clinic manager to create an integrated, bespoke delivery service, which positively impacts post-surgical rehabilitation.

JOB DESCRIPTION • Lead, manage, co-ordinate and deliver high quality and high impact physiotherapy services for post-operative orthopaedic surgery whilst meeting the needs of the business • Operate as the first point of contact for the recovery centre • To provide highly skilled and specialised assessment, diagnosis and treatment for patients within the in-patient service • Take a lead role in physiotherapy pre-operative admission assessment service and patient MDT meetings as required • Maintain a comprehensive, indexed database of work conducted with weekly updates on patient outcomes • Engage with all external partners to deliver a world-class post-operative rehabilitation service • Develop and evaluate the service • To work with the directors on the marketing of the service • Create a yearly marketing strategy • To develop relationships with orthopaedic surgeons thus driving the knowledge base forward resulting in improved care • Develop a working environment and culture that actively improves health, safety and security • Be professionally and legally accountable for all aspects of delivery, working within professional standards and clinical guidelines • Perform a leading role in assuring medical governance standards to safeguard patients' physical and mental health • Comply with organisational and professional codes of conduct, standards, policies, and guidelines • Maintain and support the effective use of physical and financial resources
