Raph is an APPI Clinical Pilates trained Physiotherapist with extensive experience in managing spinal conditions primarily focused on self-management and intensive rehabilitation programmes. He follows a patient-centered, Consultant-led management philosophy focused on empowering patients to regain confidence and control by adopting viable solutions.
He has extensive experience in private practice gained through work across five countries over the last twenty two years, ten of which were in London.
Raph completed Post Graduate studies in Sports Physiotherapy with a Masters from the University of Melbourne. He has been lecturing Rehabilitation and Return to Physical Activity and Sport to Post Graduate students since 2009. In addition he has been working with elite athletes at Summer and Winter Olympic, Paralympic and Commonwealth Games.
Raph was also Head of Sport Medicine for British Bobsleigh in the cycle leading to the recent Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang 2018 and he’s currently contracted with the English Institute of Sport.
In London, Raph works closely with Spine Specialist Consultants, Pain Specialists and Sports Doctors.
When not working, Raph loves Pilates, running and Nordic walking in Richmond Park. He is a keen alpine and cross-country skier as he grew up in the Alps.
