When Jo isn’t treating patients at Physio Remedies, she’s busy undertaking research with surgeons from the Fortius Clinic and developing her knowledge in all manner of knee injuries and treatments.
While studying for a degree in Physiotherapy, a Masters in Sports Physiotherapy, and then a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Jo kept up her clinical skills by working with an assortment of associations and practices – including Professional Rugby, where she rehabilitated players with severe long-term injuries. She also spent time with specialists in the USA, during which time she developed a special interest in knee injuries.
Today, Jo is our anterior knee pain specialist at Physio Remedies; she also presents internationally on her research work.
Jo is deeply knowledgeable in her field and highly professional in all aspects of her treatment – first rate in every respect. She is also very responsive to queries and thorough in her follow-up.
Jo is amazing. I am a particularly difficult case, and she has gone above and beyond to help me, offering new solutions. I firmly believe she's doing everything she can to help me, and I feel very reassured having her as my physiotherapist.
